Movia installs tracking and Wi-Fi collecting devices onto trucks acting as moving billboards, offering real-time impression analytics and retargeting opportunities. Brands can view their real-time dashboard to see when, where and who saw their message and track their ROI. They can then build relevant audiences and reach them again on their mobile devices, increasing overall effectiveness far beyond what traditional OOH can offer.

Movia executes in the US and Canada and works with top brands like Amazon, Walmart, Dole, Casper, etc. Our team is ten full-time, and we are on track to expand to 20-30 by the end of the year. So this is an opportunity to get in at the ground stages as we scale rapidly.

Job Description

We are looking for a junior to intermediate “generalist” developer who enjoys working with technologies like Go, ElasticSearch, Postgres, embedded Linux, Python (Django) and Javascript (Vue3).

-Depending on the candidate’s strengths, responsibilities may include :

-Develop new user-facing features

-Build reusable code and libraries for future use

-Implement new API features

-Back-end / front-end integration

Skills and Qualifications

-Able to write code that is clean, concise and easily readable by other team members

-Candidate must hold a degree (or will be graduating within 2 years) from an accredited Canadian university

-Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

Salary: $65K - $75K

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Python (Django): 2 years (preferred)

• Go: 2 years (preferred)
